Acrylic, spray paint, house paint, and mixed media on canvas
50 × 60 in.

A meditating figure sits at the center of the composition, slowly becoming entangled in a network of dark green organic forms. Like roots, vines, or neural pathways, they spread across the surface, blurring the boundary between the figure and its surroundings. Layers of gestural marks, geometric fragments, and spontaneous drips create a constant tension between structure and disorder.
Rather than presenting meditation as a state of perfect calm, Meditation & Chaos explores the opposite. The mind rarely becomes quiet simply because we ask it to. Thoughts multiply, distractions emerge, and inner noise competes for attention. The painting embraces that struggle, suggesting that peace is not found by eliminating chaos, but by remaining present within it.
